A Place to Gather & Create
Life moves fast. The Crafting Table slows it down a bit.
It’s where neighbors come to make, laugh, and enjoy a little creative company.

Music playing and a few people already settling in. You find a spot and everything you need for the project is already there, laid out and ready to go.
Maybe it’s a wreath for your front door. Or hand-lettered tea towels. Something simple you can finish in a few hours and actually use.
We work with our hands, chat about everything and nothing, and help each other when we get stuck.
There’s no “teacher” at the front of the room. No right way to do things. Just good music, easy conversation, and the kind of time that makes you remember why you used to love this stuff in the first place.
You leave with something you made and a little more spring in your step. That’s the whole idea.
Been meaning to make more friends but isn’t sure where to start.
For the neighbor who just moved to town and doesn’t know a soul yet.
For the mom whose kids are grown and the house feels too quiet these days.
For the person who works from home and realizes they haven’t had a real conversation all week.
For anyone who’s tired of scrolling and ready to actually do something with their hands.
You don’t need to be crafty. You don’t need to bring anything. You just need to show up.
What if we just showed up, made something with our hands, and enjoyed each other’s company for a while?
I’m Carrie Green, and I work in marketing. Which means most of my day is spent staring at a screen.
Don’t get me wrong. I love what I do. But a few months back, I realized something was missing. I couldn’t remember the last time I’d laughed with someone in person. Really laughed. The kind where your face hurts afterward.
So I started saying yes to things. Pickleball on Tuesday mornings. Line dancing on Thursdays. Nothing life-changing, just simple ways to get out of the house.
And it changed everything.
I started coming home energized instead of depleted. I was making friends. Having actual conversations. Feeling like myself again.
One night I was working on a craft project at my kitchen table (something I usually do alone) and I thought: I bet I’m not the only one who needs this.
That’s how The Crafting Table started. It’s just a few hours to sit down together, make something with our hands, and enjoy good company. No pressure to be perfect. No agenda except to slow down and connect.
If you’ve been feeling a little disconnected lately, pull up a chair. We saved you a spot.
Each gathering offers a new project and a chance to unwind, create, and connect.
